Birla Vishvakarma Mahavidyalaya (BVM) Engineering College is the oldest engineering college in the state of Gujarat in India. In the Electrical Engineering Department of this college, a unique Power System Laboratory exists. The Experiments on Power System Protection are especially unique. A paper describing this laboratory is published in the May 2005 issue of the IEEE Transactions on Power Systems. This web page is created to disseminate laboratory manuals for the interested people. The manuals uploaded here are still in the formative stage. Please refer to the paper first to understand how the lab was created. When the revised and complete versions of the manuals are ready, they will be updated here. Some pictures are also uploaded here to give an idea what the experiment-setups look like. | |||
