Electrical and Computer Engineering Degree Programs
Undergraduate Programs
The undergraduate program of the Klipsch School is accredited by the Engineering Accreditation Commission of ABET and stresses the development of analytical tools and physical concepts required to prepare students for immediate employment or graduate study. The program is flexible, allowing students to choose course work in the interest areas of communications, computers, control systems, digital design, electric energy systems, electromagnetics and microwave engineering, micro-electronics, photonics, signal processing, telemetry, and space systems engineering.
Each student is required to participate in a capstone design class as part of the undergraduate degree program. Further information on the capstone design process and current projects can be found on the capstone resource page.
The Klipsch School offers the BSEE for Electrical and Computer Engineering majors. A student can also earn either an Electrical Engineering (EE) minor or a Computer Engineering (CompE)minor if they are in another major. Note: ECE students with an emphasis in electrical engineering cannot earn a CompE minor nor can ECE students with a computer engineering emphasis earn a EE minor.
