Student Scholarships

  Fund Name Purpose

Electrical and Computer Engineering Department Scholarship
For a student enrolled in Electrical Engineering
2.
George W. Lucky Endowed Scholarship
Electrical Engineering student who has completed at least 50 hours; maintained a GPA of 2.75 or higher; active in IEEE or HKN
3.
Electrical Engineering Alumni & Friends Endowed Scholarship
For a sophomore student in Electrical Engineering with a 2.5 GPA who is active in IEEE.
4.
Charles H. Higgins Endowed Memorial Scholarship
For students in Electrical Engineering with a 3.0 GPA.  Preference to students who show aptitude to pursue advanced degrees and who have demonstrated financial need.
5.
Hartwell Endowed Memorial Scholarship
For a sophomore, junior or senior student in Electrical Engineering with a 3.0 GPA.  Preference to U.S. citizen.
6.
Oscar V. Montieth Student Employment Workstudy
For an undergraduate student in Electrical Engineering in need of financial assistance.  Award shall be in the form of wages for employment.

H. Warren Cooper Electrical Engineering Endowed Scholarship
For an Electrical Engineering major who is active in IEEE
8.
Electrical & Computer Engineering Endowed Scholarship
For a student in Electrical Engineering who has completed 60 credit hours with a 3.4 GPA, and is a member of Eta Kappa Nu.
9.
Norton J. Davis Memorial Electrical Engineering Endowed Scholarship
U.S. Citizen, NM resident -NM community served by electrical cooperative; EE major, Junior (renewable for 1 more yr) or Senior; have financial need; 2.5 g.p.a.

Raymond Stocklos Endowed Memorial Scholarship
For an Electrical Engineering major in good academic standing.
11.
J. Warren Pollard Endowed Scholarship
For a junior or senior Electrical Engineering student who has completed EE211/EE214 with "B" grade or better and has a 3.2 GPA.  Student must be a New Mexico resident and U.S. citizen
12.
Michael Corpening Endowed Memorial Scholarship
For a full-time junior or senior enrolled in Electrical and Computer Engineering with cumulative GPA of 3.5, active participation in campus organizations. Preference student graduate from Mayfield, Las Cruces or Onate.
13.
Marcos Medina Memorial Endowed Scholarship
electrical engineering student with a 3.5 GPA; resident of New Mexico; must be enrolled in at least two junior level courses
14.
Direct Mentoring Power Fellowship
For student with demonstrated interest in power engineering as evidenced by current enrollment in energy systems classes, previous employment; in the power industry, etc; active participation in student organizations; GPA
15.
Lt. Anthony Aguilar Endowed Memorial Scholarship
For a junior students majoring in Electrical Engineering with a minimum 2.5 GPA

Dr. & Mrs. C. Donald Crosno Endowed Scholarship For Electrical & Computer Engineering Freshmen
For an incoming freshmen in electrical engineering with a 3.5 high school GPA or 26 ACT or better, is a high school graduate of New Mexico, El Paso, TX or Ciudad Juarez, Mexico
17.
Jack Ward Electrical Engineering Endowed Scholarship
For a freshman Electrical Engineering student with a minimum high school GPA of 3.0.
18.
Jerry B. and Dathylene Cooper Memorial Endowed Scholarship
Full time student in Electrical Engineering with a GPA of 3.0 or better.  Must show evidence of financial need as demonstrated by current FAFSA
19.
Russell P. Jedlicka Memorial Endowed Scholarship
A full-time junior or senior student majoring in electrical and computer engineering.  Must have a minimum 3.0 GPA

Professorships and Endowed Chairs
